Designed by Hobie Sorrell, the “guppy” is of all wood construction.  The design is a good one, and plenty of these little airplanes have been built. If you are looking for a good, proven, and solid homebuilt airplane design then this one may just be for you.  Design calls for a OMC outboard boat motor, or any motor over 18hp.
